Not all materials are available in Dragons Gate but most will eventually be obtainable. Here is a list of what is currently accessible and the means to access it.
- Adamantine is widely available.
- Cold Iron is widely available.
- Darkleaf and Darkwood are available. The only trees known are in the verdant realm but strong trade relations between Rook and the Elves make it available with regularity in the markets of Rook.
- Fire-forged Steel and Frost-forged Steel are both available from the Dwarves of the Iron Realm. Strong trade relations between Rook and these Dwarves make them available within the markets of Rook. Low demand however, makes it hard to find and often must be special ordered.
- Greenwood is available in the Verdant Realm but the Elves do not trade it. PCs can get green-wood weapons as rewards from the elves or through black market purchases. Black market purchases cost 200% of normal.
- Mithril is widely available in Rook and a mine for the material can be found a couple hours travel south of Rook.
- Noqual is available exclusively in Rook.
- Silver, Alchemical is widely available.
- Silversheen is widely available.
- Stone items are only available through the Dwarves of either the Western or Central Ranges. Strong trade relations between Rook and the Western Dwarves make it available within the markets of Rook. Low demand however, makes it hard to find and often must be special ordered.
For the new Season 2 areas, all the above materials are accessible in some manner. For now, there is no real barrier to gaining them, though stipulations and conditions may be added as new areas open up.
